Your New TIAO Member Login Experience

What is Whereabouts?

TIAO is transitioning to Whereabouts, a new membership platform that powers our member directory, communications, events, and website listings in one place.

Whereabouts is a destination management and marketing platform built for tourism organizations. It powers TIAO's member directory, communications, events, and website listings, all in one place.

The interface is easy to use, includes optional AI-assisted tools to help save time, and is built with tourism in mind. It captures the information that visitors and industry partners actually need. At its core, Whereabouts is a step toward a more connected, more informed tourism community.

How to Claim Your Profile

Step 1: Look out for an invitation email from TIAO with a link to access Whereabouts.

Step 2: Click the link and follow the steps to create a new password. Your basic profile information, including any historical or active invoices, will already be pre-loaded based on our existing records.

Step 3: Review and update your details. Add a strong description of your business, upload a high-quality photo, add staff members and confirm your hours and contact information.

Step 4: Submit your changes for review. Our team will approve updates quickly, and your profile will be live.

Getting the Most Out of Whereabouts

Keep your profile current: The more accurate and complete your listing is, the more useful it is to visitors and industry partners who discover you through the directory.

Check your For You page regularly: This is where new Broadcasts from TIAO will appear (you’ll also be notified by email). It is the fastest way to hear about programs, co-op marketing opportunities, and resources that could benefit your business.

Post to our job board: get your job posting seen by the entire tourism industry. Find the job board in the For You section, or follow this link.

Submit your events: If you host workshops, seasonal experiences, or community events, submit them through Whereabouts. Approved events can be featured across TIAO’s website and promotional channels.

Use a strong hero photo: Listings with high-quality images and video get significantly more engagement than those without.

Write your description for a visitor, not a search engine: A short, readable summary of what makes your business worth visiting will do more for you than a list of keywords.
